We're extremely pleased that our fresh crop Peruvian Project 121 coffees have landed!

Each is Fairtrade-certified and Organic, and was grown in the Cajamarca region in Northern Peru, an area nestled high in the Andes where heights reach up to 2,700 MASL.

Project 121 has been designed to provide Australian roasters with the chance to build direct, secure partnerships with a single producer. Each season we select a limited number of single-farmer microlots on the basis of the quality and sustainability of the product.

Juan Cedro Quispe Rivera

Mr Rivera lives with his wife, Olga, and their two children in the Coipa district of San Ignacio, Peru on their farm, El Cedro.
Juan is very committed to cup quality; he picks his cherries in the mornings and processes them (de-pulping and washing them) the same day, usually in the late afternoon. By completing the task in a short time period, he reduces the chance of any deterioration in cup quality.
